Talent Trees
The video dates from before RPG Builder 2.0 however what is explained is still accurate, the thing to keep in mind is the editor UI has changed
Talent Trees are now located in Progression > Talent Trees
Requirement section has been replaced with a field where you can apply a Requirement Template
Talent Trees allows your character to learn & upgrade Abilities, Crafting Recipes, Resource Nodes and Bonuses.
They can be attached to classes, skills & weapon templates.
Generic Fields
Field Name | Function |

ID | The ID of this asset data element. Automatically generated. |
Name | Name of the asset data in the project and editor. |
File Name | The name of the file in the project. Automatically generated. |
Point Type | The tree point type accepted by the talent tree in order to unlock nodes |
Tier Amount | The amount of horizontal rows for this talent tree. This will define the automatically generated UI by RPG Builder to present your talent tree. |

Slot | The position of this node inside its vertical row in the game UI. The amount of slots can be adjusted in Settings > Progression > nodes per tier |
Requirement(s) | Here you define a Requirement Template. For example needs to be X level before you can spend points to unlock the node. |
You made a Fireball ability.
You assign this Fireball ability to Tier 3 and Slot 2
This means the ability's node will appear in the 3rd horizontal row (left to right) and in the 2nd slot downward
The amount of Slots can be defined here Settings > Progression
