Visual Effects, Animations & Sounds

These can be triggered by Abilities, Effects and more, allowing you to spawn any prefab you want that could include particles, meshes or even play an animation on the character or NPCs during combat.

Visual Effects:

Visual Effects
Activate On
  • Activate: When using the ability
  • Cast Completed: At the end of the cast time
  • Completed: Whenever the ability is completed
  • Interrupted: Whenever the ability is interrupted
TemplateThe visual effect template to trigger.
Use Node Socket?Should the visual effect be triggered at a node socket?
Position Offset?The position offset the visual effect will be spawned at relative to its spawn position.
Attach to caster?Should the visual effect be attached to its target?
ScaleThe scale at which the visual effect will be spawned.
DurationThe duration in seconds the visual effect will remain in the scene.
EndlessIf on, the visual effect will never despawn.
DelayThe delay in seconds after which the visual effect will be spawned.

TemplateThe animation template to trigger.
DelayThe delay after which the animation will be played.
Show Weapons?Should the weapon be visible during the animation?
Weapons DurationThe duration for which the weapons will be visible, in the case that the character was out of combat when using the ability.
Modify Speed?If on, allows for modification of the animation speed.
Speed ParameterThe parameter that defines the animation speed (usually AttackAnimationsSpeed).
SpeedThe value to alter the animation speed by.
